授業概要 / Course Description
American Studies B is based on the understanding of American history covered in American Studies A, which is offered in the spring semester. In this course, building on the history of American colonialism discussed during the spring, we will examine 21st-century America, focusing on social issues such as gender, sexuality, race, capitalism, environmental issues, and militarization.

・Since this course builds on the content of American Studies A, those students who have not taken American Studies A are expected to supplement their understanding of basic American history.
