授業概要 / Course Description
This course is designed to help students develop critical thinking skills, with a special focus on how cognitive biases (ex. bystander, anchoring, confirmation, etc.) impact decision-making in both personal, social, and global contexts. By understanding these biases, students will be better equipped to evaluate information, make informed decisions, and address real-world issues more effectively.

授業は全て英語で行われます。履修する学生は以下の語学力（相当）を必要とします：
GTEC 260以上
TOEFL ITP 505以上
TOEFL iBT 60以上
TOEIC 580以上
IELTS 5.0
英検準１級以上
CEFR B1
・本科目は、入学時及び２年進級時に受験しているプレースメントテスト（GTECまたはTOEFL ITP）のスコアを利用し、履修者が定員を超過した場合は上記スコア要件に合致していない学生から優先的に削除されます。本科目の受講を希望しており、GTEC受験以降に上記のスコアに相当する語学力を取得した者は、事後抽選日の2日前（土日祝日を除く）までに各種テストの証明書コピーを国際教育支援室まで提出してください。また、スコア要件に合致している学生で定員を超過した場合は、無作為抽選となります。
・上記スコアを所持していない学生は、先に留学準備スキルアップ科目を修得する等、CEFR B1以上の取得を目指してください。到達目標 / Course Objectives

1. Understand key cognitive biases and their influence on decision-making.
2. Analyze how biases shape perspectives on social and global issues.
3. Apply critical thinking strategies to overcome biases.
4. Make informed and ethical decisions in complex situations.
