授業概要 / Course Description
About half the world's population still lives on $2 a day, one in nine people suffer from hunger, and one in six adults is illiterate. Our world faces many challenges, and global partnerships between governments, the private sector, and civil society are urgently needed to transform our world and achieve sustainable societies.
Students in this course are required to consider and understand the structure and dynamics of international development. The course is taught in a didactic manner and through group work, with an emphasis on the latter. In group work, students discuss topics related to development issues. The topics are drawn from the keywords in each lecture. Students also prepare and give presentations on topics related to global partnerships for sustainable development.
