授業概要 / Course Description
This course explores the dynamic and evolving landscape of Japanese literature in the post-World War II era. Delving into the works of prominent authors, we will analyze the cultural, social, and political transformations that have shaped the literary expressions in Japan since 1945. Students will engage in close readings of key texts, and through a combination of discussions, critical analysis, and workshops students will gain insights both into the mechanics of literary works and the thematic concerns that characterize Japanese literature during this period.
Students are strongly recommended to have at least TOEIC Score 580 (TOEFL iBT Score 60/PBT Score 500) or G-TEC Score 260 in order to obtain a passing grade from this course. Those who do not have the requested scores but wish to enroll need to consult with the instructor prior to registering.
